Discovery Bay is the second part to the Imaginaria Resort.  This section, themed to a Jules Verne-ish Victorian view of the future, is different than most theme parks.  Here museums and institutes of research stand side-by-side with amusements similar to what is done at EPCOT and areas of the Disney World Resort.

Many of my ideas were based on sketches made for a planned, but never realized, concept sketch to construct an actual area of the Disneyland Resort with a Victorian/Jules Verne theme that had proved popular at the Disneyland Paris Resort, as well as a series of futuristic posters at DLParis illustrating a Victorian view of what the present would be like.  However, this remains a fantasy park, and bears little or no relation to any real theme park, nor to any true Disney styling.

There are several sections to the park...the entrance leads to a small re-creation of a turn of the century exhibition park with small sections themed to various countries called "White City'  These sections are themed for such diverse countries as Egypt, Greece, Italy and even China.   There is also a large 'Crystal Carnival' building holding many gentle rides.  Further along are several neo-classical exhibition buildings like those found at World's Fairs and exhibitions of that period and a Grand Arch.
