"Schiphol
Airport of course does exist but isn’t located in
sea in RL. The Schiphol management would LOVE to
have it there for years now, though, so I made their
wish come through! The architect Berlage designed a
lot of now famous buildings, but I don’t think
there is a railway station amongst them. There
really is a Cruquius stoomgemaal but it looks
different in RL………etc, etc, etc. So don’t
look for exact copies for you will not find any!
This is “my” Holland made for Amazing Earl!
It is only a small park (70x70) of course, for
Holland is a small country. The peeps preference is
set to low intensity and you will not find a ride in
here with an intensity rating above 6.
Amazing
Earl will arrive at Schiphol Airport! The crew in
the flight tower is really excited about having a
famous person visiting Holland as you can see! Of
course he is arriving on Flight AE 001!
There
are several places to stay after arriving: Hotel “Deltawerken”,
Pension “Dijkzicht”, Hotel & Congress center
“Zeezicht”, de Groene Draak
a Chinese hotel/restaurant or a Roman Villa
called Cave Canem (latin for “watch out for the
dog”).
The
staff in the park all has Dutch names and as you
might notice, there are lots of “policemen”
around. This is because of the slogan of the Dutch
Government: “Meer blauw op straat” (“More blue
in the streets” the Dutch police wear blue and
black uniforms).
All
entertainers are called after famous Dutch comedians
(dead and alive) except for one (LOL) but I’m sure
that one will feel at home amongst the others. Oh,
and one other: me, awaiting my guests a bit nervous." |
