The Village and Mountain Lake Area The village today is mainly an attraction. Only a few people actually live there to tend to the fields. The mountain lake is famous for its salmon. They come here each year to spawn. The old Iron factory was turned into a hotel in 1966. In the same year, the mine train coaster Treasure Hunt was built. It used to have another name but got its recent name after the treasure was found. Mining Matters, a wild mine ride, was built in 1979. It was an actual mine that was used to mine ore for the island. The coaster is running through the former mining tunnels.
