The next woodie is the legendary Cannonball, with its very fast out and back design. This is a classic coaster in its simplicity, and in that it separates the main section of Luna Park from the boardwalk with all the food places, games, and barkers. The sun is getting low on the horizon, and the boardwalk is just the perfect place to be.

The Cannonball on Luna Park Pier

I realize the park will close very soon, so I head over to the crystal palace for my last chance to ride the FF & MRR. This train does one mile-long loop around the island. I got a chance to see Americana from an entirely different perspective. The train pulled into the station just in time to catch the last monorail out. While riding that monorail out across the water, it gave me time to reflect on what an incredible three days this has been. There is little sense in comparing Imaginaria to Disneyland. There are some similar themes and attractions, and yes, both live and breathe Disneyland - but Imaginaria exists in the imagination in a way no other Disney Park can. I will come again...
