On this side of the park is the County Fair. I check out the animals briefly and head for the carnival. I try my hand at some games of skill and chance, and sample some deep-fried fair food. Feeling a bit queasy, I do the only sensible thing and queue up for the wild mouse ride - Cheesy Mice. I needed to have a sit, so I went into Col. Flagg's Trained Chickens show.

Still feeling in a carnival mood, I shuffle over to Luna Park. Inside I find a wild assortment of attractions, Strat-O-Liner, Whirler, Roundabout, Top Spin, AeroPlanes, Dodgems...all the favorites, and of course - coasters. First up, Coaster Thrill Ride. Nearly 3,000 feet long, and over eight seconds air time, this woodie runs in circles and in a double oval returns to the station.
