Flying Monkeys

The Great Wizard did not grant all of our wishes so we go in search of the Wicked Witch. Along the way we stop at The Flying Monkeys to see what all of the screaming is about. These dueling flyers are a great warm-up for what awaits us in the end. Brad and I hop aboard different trains so we can compare notes later. We are not disappointed as we reach the top of the lift-hill at the same time. What follows is a well-planned series of close flybys and head-choppers that is a thrill for any coaster enthusiast. It’s not fast, but really intense and exciting. We exit with a newfound burst of energy and head for our final conquest of the day.
It’s a dark and foreboding area that we have just entered. Just the setting that Wicked Witches prefer. This monster has all of the elements of one wicked coaster. What awaits us at the bottom of the lift-hill is a loop, cobra roll, zero-g twist and a barrel roll. If that’s not enough you finish by flying through a waterfall. Not a bad ending for a perfect day in the Wonderful World of Oz.

I am gently jostled awake by the bump of the landing and chirp of the tires, Brad says I have been sleeping for awhile and mumbling something about There’s No Place Like Home and clicking my heels together. Was it a dream or was it real? Find out for yourself by downloading The Wonderful World of Oz and enjoying all of the sights and sounds that await you.
