            | To the left of the entrance is a flat piece of land that resembles
Kansas on a good day. Off in the distance we spot our first target
of the day. Along the way we pass another great structure housing
Almira Gulch Dognappers. It is a well designed monorail cycle ride
that has some great theming. Further down the path we find the
entrance to a wicked looking coaster. Hold me back, ‘cause I’m
gonna tame this black beauty. A quick walk thru the entrance and
it’s “All Aboard” the Kansas Twister. One of the passions in
my life is to ride every Woodie that’s available and this one
looks mean. Up the lift and away we go. Over the course of the
next two minutes I’m not disappointed as I’m subjected to 13
drops and 7.3 seconds of gut floating air-time. A great ride for
anyone that likes the smell of wood.

            | We depart Kansas and wind our way to the colorful land of the
Munchkin’s. As we pass the Crooked House, I swear I saw the
Wicked Witches legs sticking out. Again, the textures and colors
used are fantastic. Next stop on the coaster list is a Virginia
Reel called the Munchkin Folkdance Fest Contest. I’ve been to a
few folk and square dances in my life, but never one that almost
spins you into orbit. Getting off of this whirling dervish without
bumping into something is a real feat. Continuing on down the path
on wobbling legs, we pass The Hall of Fame, Floating Fun and
numerous food and trinket stands. A little further down the path
is the Matchmaker Mansion. It’s a covered Ghost Train ride. I
will let your imagination run wild with this one, as I’m not
going to tell you about the thrills and chills awaiting you in
              this haunted place. |
            | If my memory serves me right, we should be looking for the
Scarecrow next, and there he is disguised as a mini roller
coaster. We hop aboard and take a quick spin around the area
looking for a brain for our newfound friend. It’s not the
biggest or wildest coaster in the park, but it still gets the
adrenaline pumping. As we hop off we spot the Brainteaser, a well
designed wooden wild mine ride. Across the path and off we go.
This little monster packs a real punch with its sudden turns and
              quick drops.
