This fully themed area featured all sorts of gorgeous attractions like " Splash Mountain Atlantis", "Beneath the Sea" and "The Lost Temple", a LIM Launched coaster. Snack bars and refreshment vendors were plentiful, although the majority of them seemed to 'close for repairs' just about the time I got to them. The air of an ancient land ravaged by time was done exceedingly well...reminded me alot of Margo's complexion but with fewer blackheads.
Rising above the treeline I noticed the fanciful minarets of Old Arabia - what fun! '1001 Stories', 'Dust Storm' and more... although I must say the manager of the 'Bagdad Cafe' was most disagreeable. I have a long history as a gifted practitioner of the Belly Dancing arts, which the man just didn't seem to appreciate...wasn't like I was charging anything and the customers threw bread rolls at me instead of 'loonies'...well other than that one woman who threw knives...badly.
The echo of crazy sound effects soon drew me to Toon Town Fair, home to some of my favorite Disney Characters (although I must point out that I never did come across Bugs Bunny, Daffy, Tom or Jerry nor any of the Flintstones...must have been their days off...).
