The City |
In 1957 the first hotel was built on the beach, holding the Steel Wild Mouse coaster Royal Rebels. This was the first indoor coaster on the island. The coaster was damaged by fire on July 18, 1978. The building was repaired, but the coaster wasn't refurbished until 1998. New cars were added, and the entire ride was re-tracked. |

In November 2005, when celebrating the park’s 110th anniversary, not only the city was completed, but also its most important “inhabitant”: Insane Insomnular, a giga coaster.
The Insane Insomnular resort building was especially designed to support an important part of the coaster. The enormous arch marks not only Insomnular’s Skyline but showcases Insane Insomnular prominently! |

Just outside the city behind the Royal Rebels hotel you’ll find a small, beautifully themed, spinning mouse coaster named: Spinning Parrot. It was originally built in 1981 and new cars were added in 2003. |
