Visit this Park...   On Assignment to Paradise

By mantis

Visit this park, they said, and we won't 'take action'. Thank-you very much, I said, because being coerced into visiting a Theme Park is something like my idea of paradise. In this case it was a Sparkly Paradise I was being forced to see - brought to us by the prolific Six Frags. Having won several accolades around the RCT world (including contests, coasters and miniparks), Six Frags now brings us this whopper - a full sized theme park complete with three areas, a resort, and parking to satisfy even Monster Trucks Anonymous.

Sure, it's a drag to have to catch the plane to the location, hire a limo to the park gates, stay the night in a luxury penthouse suite and then ride all the rides all in the name of reviewing, but when you're being held at gun-point there's not much choice in the matter. So I wasn't complaining..

As the park brochure states, the resorts began as two separate entities, but grew in size to such an extent that they became 'Paradise Inn - East & West'. I had the pleasure of staying in one of the suites in the West branch, a classy, white and tan affair with tropical foliage, glass facades and ample swimming/tennis facilities. I was later to discover that the East hotel was more traditional, but just as well kitted out.

Leaving the hotel in the morning, I was made to navigate the immense parking area before reaching the park gates. Thankfully, the parking lots were well laid out - and the harsh expanse of the tarmac was dotted with pockets of greenery and flowing water.
