I’ve chosen the green Samurai Warrior for my champion. Another beautifully themed entrance, with banners and large Samurai statues on either side. The vegetation is lush and well-manicured as I make my way to the front car. Lap bars down and up the lift. We are side-by-side with our enemy and preparing to square-off. We bow to each other at the top of the lift-hill and the game is afoot. We lose sight of each other at the split, but here he comes in a deadly fly-by. We avoid each other this time and jockey for position for a long running battle. Ahead slightly, he makes a sudden but deadly move overhead. In the blink of the eye, we have come to the end of the battle with our worthy opponent. Who won, you may ask?  Who cares, the ride was a blast.

Across the way, lies the final area of this magnificent park, the Turkish Market. Again, the hands of the master have been busy with great theming and architecture. Working my way through the street market yields a hand-tied rug for my office and some other goodies for the staff.

Prepare to do battle!
Turkish Market

The Istanbul Wheel and Magic Carpet have never looked better with their bright paint jobs. Across the square is the final coaster in this magical park. It’s a Tivoli junior coaster decked to the nines with fantastic theming. Winding it’s way overhead and through the Meat Market, it’s the perfect ending to an enjoyable day. There is so much I’ve missed, but I’ll let you download and enjoy Mike Robbins fantastic creation. This is his 19th solo park and his first WW attempt. My hat’s off to you my friend, because you have pulled it off with style. As I board the Orient Express, I wonder what great adventure next month’s contest will yield.
